The Long Party in Cape Town

Well another successful trip in the heart of the mother land, Cape Town really does make me smile every time I am here. I am happy to say that I no longer have to pull out my mobile phone to see my Garmin app or Google Maps. I know my way around, now all I will be pulling my phone out for is when I need to feed my love of online bingo or getting those online bingo reviews haha. Ok but really I have found that the Mother City is now my friend and although it was an adventure to get lost and then hustle around the city. I think it is safer that I’m not going to be caught on the dark side of town.

If you are thinking of coming to Cape Town then are something’s that you just have to do. Yes there are those things like going up Table Mountain and Robben Island and Wine lands that every person will want to do while on holiday in Cape Town, but there are those other things that you may not put at the top of your list that need to be done.

Long Street, it’s not called that for nothing, but what is greater about this stretch is that it is a hub of activity. I would advise spending a night walking the street and experiencing the night life vibe. Pub Crawl if you feel brave I recently did it and I really felt like I experienced all nightlife cultures in one. From an Irish pub, and African Tavern to a trance club and a hip hop party. Truly a great experience, a good memory is listening to the people telling me we all going to “new Zula”, not sure what that meant, but I went along for the ride. And I can tell you it did not disappoint three stories of fun and party.

What’s also great is that everything stays open all night whether it be a takeaway or even the restaurants that are bustling late into the night and early morning. I myself ended of my night with a trip to the Clay Oven for a Pizza and a beer and I can tell you it was the perfect way to end of the night.

So if you are down in the Mother City Get to long street there is so much to do and it will probably be more memorable than climbing the Mountain.
