A Quick Tip On Healthy Travel

A Guest Post:

I am off on my Travels very soon and it looking at all the disasters around the world my parents have become pretty worried. I of course know that I will be fine and there is no reason at all to panic. I am headed to Thailand and with all the floods going on, there is that danger of course. There is also the possibility that disease could spread, but I have taken the steps to ensure that I am all good.
I went to a natural health practice to see what I needed to make sure that I would be ok, whether I needed nhp omega 3 plus or a yellow fever shot. In the end all I needed was a Hepatitis B shot, because it is a water born virus, so I can rest easy about that.

One thing you need to make sure you have is Travel insurance, I mean, it’s all well and good being in an exotic country and having the time of your life, but in all likely hood it is a 3rd world country so the medical care is not going to be that of what you are used too. Imagine being out on the town and disaster strikes or you even have a small injury or sickness. Fact is you are going to need medical attention, and I know for one that I don’t want to spend it at a local free clinic.

It would be ideal that you get all medicine signed with a doctor’s note so that at the airport everything is sorted and you do not get held up for drug possession. Once that is done you shouldn’t have any problem as if you get sick you don’t have to trudge around looking for medicine you recognize.

In the end it all comes down to you, you have to remember that you are in an exotic land. If you want to risk injury then that is your choice. If you are sensible you will be fine, so here’s to health wealth and great travels.
