A Trip into Adventure

Africa, formally known as the Dark Continent was a place of wonders and fears for adventurers to travel. It was considered madness or absolute bravery to journey to Africa. Even sailors would fear to sail around the Cape as it was known to have the worst storms and claim many lives.

But nowadays it is just seen as a place of adventure, but how many of us have really taken the time to go on one of these African adventures. How many of us have the opportunity to go on southern African tours and would rather experience Cederberg luxury accommodation. I can put my hand up, I myself need to take the journey of adventure.

How many of us know that we don’t have all the time in the world to venture into Zaire or Uganda and see the Gorillas in The Mist, because I for one know that I need to see them before they are wiped from the Wild, by evil men who do not appreciate what the all mighty has given us.

Of course I would like to see the Pyramids and other great structures that are in the country of Egypt and venture through South Africa, but these parts of Africa have been touched by Western Culture, I want to see, the Wild and what man has not yet quite damaged yet. Into Kenya to see the great migration, to Madagascar to see the Wildlife that is found nowhere else in the world. It may be dangerous, but in life if you are not prepared to live life, then what is the point. The benefits outweigh the rewards. Imagine seeing something in Africa that you would remember for the rest of your life, because let’s face it, Europe and the USA has been ravenged by profit and man. To climb Kilimanjaro and stand on the top of Africa, these are all things that need to be done in order to know that my life was worth living, because if you look at it, if you don’t go to Africa……..then you are missing out.
